13Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1. Will existing data be lost when re-processing?

Yes. When "Allow Delete All Tables" is checked, existing processed tables will be dropped and recreated. Please take a backup beforehand.

Q2. How can I adjust rank ratio percentages?

Go to the EIQ Data Processing tab and modify the percentage inputs for A1 through D. Ensure the total sum equals 100%, then click "EIQ Data Processing".

Q3. Which rank keys should I choose for case vs. loose shipments?

Recommended default settings are Case Shipment = "Case Count" and Loose Shipment = "Order Lines". Depending on analysis goals, Volume, Weight, or Loose Units can also be chosen.

Q4. What is the T200 table used for?

T200 is the primary dataset combining original shipments, converted units, and calculated ranks used for EIQ analysis and DC sizing calculations.

Q5. What should I do if execution freezes?

Please check:
• Is TeraCalc.accdb opened in MS Access?
• Is ShippingData.xlsx opened in MS Excel?
• Is there sufficient disk space available?
• Are there hidden error dialogs?

Q6. What if I want to change the input Excel columns?

Modifying header column names or layouts requires updates to internal query scripts. Please consult your system administrator.

Q7. Can I open MS Access directly to review data?

Reviewing data directly in Access is fine, but NEVER keep Access open while executing processing runs in this software.

Q8. How do I make a backup of the system file?

Copy TeraCalc.accdb to a safe backup folder and append the date to the filename (e.g., TeraCalc_20240115.accdb).
