Software Development Philosophy

Tera Calculation was developed based on the essential role of a distribution center and the fundamental importance of data. The core concepts behind its development are as follows:

• Mission of a Distribution Center: To protect customer lead times and ensure accurate, reliable shipping.
• Priority of Logistics Flows: Inventory exists "for the purpose of shipping," and receiving is performed "to secure inventory."
• Basis of Facility Design: Therefore, "shipping data" serves as the sole true foundation that determines the scale and functions of a distribution center.
• Handling Variable Factors: Fluctuations in inventory and receiving driven by sales or purchasing conveniences should be considered as additive factors only after calculating the baseline facility scale based on "shipping data."

Purpose of Tera Calculation

Based on this philosophy, Tera Calculation has been constructed as a software tool designed to calculate the "distribution center scale" using "shipping data."

The objective of this software is to assist learners in understanding the calculation methods and procedures of EIQ analysis (a logistics analysis method based on shipping data).

Guided by this core concept, we aim to build software that calculates "distribution center scale" using "shipping data."
